Thick-sheet thermoforming is all about control: we heat the HIPS plate to a stable forming window, then vacuum-draw it over a precision mold. Compared with thin-gauge forming, thick plate vacuum forming gives noticeably better rigidity and impact resistance. And compared with injection molding, it keeps tooling investment more reasonable for larger parts or medium production volumes.
